Teochew Kue

My videos for making Teochew Kue are Deluxe Png Kue, Cabbage Kue, Cabbage Kue Corrected Recipe, Ku Chai Kue and Genuine Sun Kue (Soon Kueh).
Please note that my YouTube videos spell "kue" as "kueh" and spell "sun kue" as "soon kueh" as in the commonly used spelling outside my Romanised Teochew System.

Deluxe Png Kue
This is a detailed video, including how to make kue skin and how to prepare the ingredients. This Png Kue is a deluxe version of Teochew Png Kue.
Commercial versions of Teochew Png Kueh are not generous on ingredients.
The Deluxe version is meant for own consumption, so goes for taste, hence uses quality and generous amount of ingredients.
Cabbage Kue
Cabbage Kue (kolekue) is another Teochew kue.
As it is for own consumption, you can use quality and generous amount of ingredients.
The video also includes recipe for making both Cabbage Kue and Ku Chai Kue using 1 packet of rice flour. See Deluxe Png Kue video on how to make kue skin.
Cabbage Kue Correction to Recipe
Correction to recipe: 1.5 kg (instead of 1 kg) of cabbage to 600 g of Rice Flour.

Ku Chai Kue
Ku Chai Kue (chives kueh) is another Teochew kue.
As it is for own consumption, you can use quality and generous amount of ingredients.
The video also includes recipe for making both Cabbage Kue and Ku Chai Kue using 1 packet of rice flour. See Deluxe Png Kue video on how to make kue skin.
Sun Kue (Soon Kueh)
Commercial Sun Kue (Soon Kueh) in Singapore is without "soon" (i.e. bamboo shoots), hence it is not really Sun Kue (Soon Kueh). It is actually Turnip Kueh.

My genuine version has winter bamboo shoots, which give a distinctive taste to Sun Kue (Soon Kueh), making genuine Sun Kue (Soon Kueh) really tasty.

Please note that ordinary bamboo shoots are bitter while winter bamboo shoots are not bitter and taste really good when mixed with turnip.

Please refer to YouTube video "Making Deluxe Png Kueh" for details on how to make really good kueh skin (i.e. kueh wrap).
